The B.Sc. In Mathematics is one of the popular courses at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University.
1. The course curriculum is research-oriented and helpful for competitive exams.
2. Students can expect to earn around Rs. 3 Lacs after completing this degree.
3. Since it is not a professional course, there is no separate placement opportunity.
4. You will get assistance if you try for off-campus placement through this course.

Hi, Both are good courses. You not need to be good at Maths but you should be good at accounts because both courses deals with accounts. And according to me FRM is best. But you should choose only when you are comfortable with it.

Admissions in SPPU in MCA & M.Sc. Programmes is through the common entrance test conducted by the Computer Science Department, University of Pune. The eligibility criteria of MCA of SPPU is given below. Eligibility: Any Science Graduate (including BCA under Science Faculty) with Mathematics at 10+2 Level. So Mathematics is necessary at 10+2 level and without Math in 10+2, you will not get admission in SPPU in MCA.

The eligibility criteria for this course in this college is B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics or an equivalent degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in Core and at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in Part III (Core and Complementary put together). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%.SC/ST candidates need only to get passing marks. And there are 20 seats so, the competition is also very high. So, in that case, according to my analysis, the cutoff will not be less than 7.8 CGPA or 78%. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

If you had Statistics in B.Com only you can join M.Sc (Statistic ) (minimum 60% marks).
Only a few seats for M Sc Statistics. The first preference is B Sc Statistics or Maths with Statistics. It is unlikely to get a seat in PG statistics for B.Com degree holders.
