The eligibility criteria of the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) are given below for an idea. Eligibility: Indian applicants with a bachelor's degree in any discipline (including those in the final year of graduation) with a minimum of 50% marks in the core subjects are eligible to apply. Central, South, and Southeast Asian nationals with similar qualifications are also eligible to apply. The next round of admission to the programme is usually announced on NCBS / TIFR websites and in leading national dailies, along with admission to other courses in the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. The entrance exam is usually held in December, followed by interviews with shortlisted candidates in May. The course commences in August. The eligibility criteria of NIMCET MCA entrance exam for NITs is given below for an idea. Eligibility : Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in (I) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications / Software development)/ BBA (Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognised University with
Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects
or (ii) B.E. / B.Tech. From a recognised University/Institution are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2022. The eligibility criteria of MAH MCA CET is also given below for an idea. (I) Passed BCA or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, EWS and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State); or (ii) Passed B.Sc. Or B.Com. Or B.A. With Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, EWS and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);
So aggregate marks obtained in graduation are important instead of individual.
