Maths is not necessary. Eligibility is candidates who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations in the academic year 2021-22 in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities etc. ). From any recognised board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or equivalent.

Hello Akshay,
For admission to an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, the institution has set a cut-off of 190 marks for General Category students, and a cut-off of 230 for admission to an undergraduate program in Biology.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

The minimum qualification for CDS is graduation in any of the stream/course. Also, B.Sc. In Mathematics is completely theoretical, if you are thinking that what you'll study in graduation will help you in CDS examination, well this is not the case. The syllabus for both is completely different.

For being a teacher you must have done B.Ed or d. el. Ed Mathematics from any recognised university. Along with it you must have cleared any state TET or CTET exam for Maths with good rank to be eligible for a teacher for 12th grades.
