For students who wish to apply on the basis of their Class 12, having Maths or Business Mathematics/Statistics/Allied Mathematics is compulsory. However, those who wish to apply on their basis of their Diploma in Engineering don't need the same. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the candidate has passed the qualifying exam with the minimum aggregate, i.e., 50%.

Yes, candidates applying with BSc/BCom/BA degree should have studied Mathematics (In degree course or Class 12) and passed with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST candidates). Moreover, candidates with a valid BCA or relevant bachelor's degree in computer Science engineering or equivalent can also apply for MCA at MMMUT.

A total of eight subjects is present and these are divided into two parts, i.e., part one and part two. For both of the course part, the written examination and assingnment score is 640 & 40, resepectively.

Pursuing an MSc in Statistics from Loyola College is a good decision if considering the placement opportunities. Loyola College Chennai recorded 70% placements for the recent batche of MSc. The highest and average package offered during the recent Loyola College placements stood at INR 10 LPA and INR 4.50 LPA, respectively.
