BSc (Hons) in Mathematics at BN College is a three-year programme. The course duration is further divided into six semesters. The course curriculum followed at the college is prescribed by the affiliating university, i.e. Patna University. It is based on the CBCS scheme and comprises core subjects, general electives (GEs), Discipline-specific Electives (DSEs), SECs and AECCs. Each subject carries certain credit points. Some subjects included in the curriculum are Real Analysis, Calculus, Algebra, Group Theory, etc. Students must also undertake a project/dissertation during the last semester of the programme.

No, Mathematics is not compulsory for BTech at Aditya Silver Oak Institute of Technology. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) made mathematics optional for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in 2021-22.
