Admission to all undergraduate courses (including BCA) is merit-based, except for Media courses where students need to qualify Loyola Visual Aptitude Test (LoVAT). To be eligible for BCA at Loyola College, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics, Business Maths or Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognised board. IIT Roorkee accepts IIT JAM scores for admission to the MSc course. Analysing the IIT JAM cutoff, MSc in Economics was turned out to be the most competitive specialisations when compared it with the other four specialisations. For Mathematics, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 247 and 272, respectively for the Economically Weaker Section category candidates for the All India Quota. So, considering the 2023 cutoff ranks, yes a candidate can get into IIT Roorkee with 200 rank in IIT JAM for MSc in Mathematics.
