The qualification for Maulana Azad College BCom course includes twelve years of school education from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates must score at least 60% aggregate in the class 12 exam with Accountancy/ Accounts/Mathematics as the prefered subjects. However, the candidates belonging to the special categories such as SC/ST /OBC are admitted with 40% aggregate in their class 12 exam. Candidates must make sure to qualify for the BCom eligibility criteria before applying for the programme.

Maulana Azad College BSc admissions merit lists are issued by the college admission official once the selection process is concluded. The selection of students depends on their score in the last qualifying exam & ranks as per college merit lists. The BSc Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 with 60% aggregate (40% for the SC/ST/OBC category) from a recognised board.

Arabic (Hons), Persian,  English (Hons), Hindi, Sociology, Philosophy, etc. are some of the specialisations offered under the BA (Hons).
