Yes, candidates with 70% in Class 12 can apply for BDS course at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences provided they have also studied the specified subjects. Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination with at least 50% aggregate  (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in English,  Physics, Chemistry and Biology to apply for BDS programme. Candidates who have passed BSc with any two subjects PCB (Botany/ Zoology) with at least 50% aggregate and Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology and English at Class 12 level can also apply.

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences accept NEET MDS for admission. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery or  NEET MDS is an entrance exam conducted by NBE for providing admissions to all the postgraduate dental courses offered by the institutions in India. NEET MDS exam is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination conducted annually in online mode. The NEET MDS score will be accepted for 50% seats of DU and 50% under All India Quota.

Yes, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences accept NEET score for admission to BDS course. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical and paramedical programmes offered in India. The exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. As far as the NEET exam pattern is concerned, there are 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, out of which 180 questions have to be attempted.

The admission for BDS would be made strictly based on merit of the eligible candidates in each category, determined by marks obtained in the NEET. Faculty of Medical Sciences, DU releases a merit list based on the rank secured by the aspirants in NEET cutoff.Selected candidates are further called for counselling. Candidates are required to select MAIDS BDS during counselling to get a seat in the institute. Aspirants who have been allotted a seat receive admission letter. They need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
