The market is currently overflowed with inexperienced graduates having a Masters degree. As you have already mentioned that you're an average student, my sincere advice to you would be to gain atleast 2+ years of experience before opting for higher degree.
After 2+ years of experience, you can opt for MBA in correspondence level or full- time course as per your choice.

Education plays a very important role in your professional career. If you are keeping time element in your mind, get admission in a management college this year. If you want to get admission in a good institute for better career growth prospects, then you can wait.

It depends up on the college. Generally, it starts after the completion of CAT and MAT exams.

It depends entirely upon you.Though as a guide,I can say you only that.You are from arts background then opt marketing/hr as an option.You will understand it well enough than others.As you told that you have interest in maths,finance might be another good option for you. Try to understand your interest and think logically.Ultimately you have to take decision.Logistics and system depends on your objective.Best of luck!
