This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Economic/Equity research / financial journalism/academics area then M.Sc Economics is better. However, if you want to move into a career in analytics & data sciences, then the other two courses are better.

Hey Vinay,
If you want to take MBA in Business Analytics, I would recommend you to join some premier institutions like IIM or IITs or at least NITs. In Karnataka, you can apply for MBA program offered in NITK Surathkal Mangalore. You can choose Analytics as your specialisation. Even fees also less compared to any other MBA program also NITK is a brand. If you have valid CAT or CMAT or GMAT Score you can apply for the program. The 1st option is much more job oriented. Go for M.Sc in stats with big data analysis. Its a growing sector and has applications in all the fields.

Analytics has become an attractive career destination for MBA students. The field offers exciting and challenging work that leverages business as well as technical knowledge in a largely merit-based environment. The financial rewards are great and growth opportunities aplenty. Analytic tools have become more user-friendly. A lot of the latest tools are GUI-based. Instead of learning a coding language one now needs to just master the graphical user interface of the tool, which is a lot easier. Experience has taught businesses that effective analytics exists only in the context of a business and a business problem.
