For admission to a two-year MBA course at GN Group of Institutes, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Those who pass three-year graduation with 50% aggregate without any grace from a recognised Indian University or its equivalent recognised by AIU are eligible to apply for this course. Admission to this course is based on national-level Management entrance exam such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc.

For admission to the Periyar University MBA course, candidates are required to fulfil the basic qualification requirements for this course. Those who are willing to get admission to the PG level MBA (General) course at Periyar University must get a UG degree of three years of duration with minimum of 50% aggregate in any stream. There is a relaxation of 5% given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. These candidates are required to pass a UG degree with minimum aggregate of 45%.
