MBA Eligibility

The normal selection criteria followed by Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Management Science (RGIMS) for the MBA/PGDM course is as follows:-Bachelor's Degree: The applicant should hold a bachelor's degree granted by any Indian or foreign university.Entrance Exam: The applicant must have a valid score in national as well as state-level entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, or the institute's entrance exam.Group Discussion and Personal Interview: All the candidates who have been shortlisted as per the cut-off marks achieved in exams are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds, where the communication abilities, leadership potential, and decision-making capabilities of the candidate are tested.Performance at earlier academics and working experience, if any could also be consideredUltimately, it will be shortlisted on overall performance.  

Candidates must have earned at least 50% of their bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university in order to be eligible for the MBA programme at BIBS Kolkata. According to regulatory organizations' standards, candidates from reserved categories may receive a mark relaxation. A valid score on an MBA entrance exam, such as the CAT MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA, is also necessary for admission. In order to evaluate their communication skills, analytical aptitude, and general potential shortlisted candidates are typically requested to participate in group discussions and in-person interviews. Admittance depends on fulfilling the eligibility and entrance requirements but ultimate selection also depends on performing well in the selection processes
