MBA Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA programme at Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS) are as follows:Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from the University of Calicut or any other recognised university or institution. The degree should follow the 10+2+3 pattern (or 10+2+4) under a regular stream.Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate score of 50% is required in the bachelor's degree examination. This includes marks from all subjects, including languages. Candidates with scores below 50% (e.g., 49.9999%) are not eligible. There are relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, and other eligible communities as per university rules.Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in one of the following entrance exams: CAT, CMAT, or KMAT.Selection Process: The selection process consists of the entrance exam score (80% weightage), followed by a group discussion (10% weightage) and a personal interview (10% weightage).Candidates interested in applying should ensure they meet these criteria and follow the application process outlined by FIMS
