Yes, Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is accepted by Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM) to avail the management programmes. MAT is one of the entrance exams widely accepted for admissions in Indian management schools. However, to avail, the candidate must be eligible based on all other eligibility criteria set by SSIM to include a minimum education requirement and requirements for a minimum MAT score.

Actually, MAT exam is not required for MBA schools for learning business they can select their candidates by CAT or TSICET exam or else they can go by the graduation criteria like they have should have minimum graduation percentage from a recognised instution. The biggest advantage of taking up the MAT MBA entrance test has to be that nearly all international schools accept MAT scores. As the MAT exam score is accepted by more than 600 MBA colleges in India, it is one of the largest MBA entrance tests in the country. No other MBA entrance exam is as widely accepted as MAT.

Definitely, you can get admission to this college with 88% in CAT. The last year cutoff for this college was 55 percentile so it is obvious that we can get a seat in this college. But you have to keep an eye on the cutoffs. Because it changes year by year and college by college. So you have to be careful while trusting last year's cutoffs . In my opinion we should not go after the cutoff because for example the college cutoff might be increased by next. So, it is best to practise for scoring a good percentile in CAT Examination.
