Scoring a mere 17 marks in XAT, your chances of selection in the best B-schools are really bleak. The cutoff expected in most of the top B-schools including XLRI, XIMB and IMT ranges between 30-40 marks. However there are other B-schools that may admit candidates by providing lower scores in the test. For instance, B-schools including XISS, XIME, Jaipuria Institute of Management might have 15-25 as their cutoff. One important point to be understood is that XAT score is only one of the selection parameters, however other important parameters include class X, XII and graduation percentage, work experience if any and personal interview pe

Yes, you can get a scholarship based on your MAT score for the PGDM programme at GIBS Business School. GIBS offers merit-based scholarships to students with good scores in national exams like MAT. If you have a strong MAT score, it increases your chances of being considered for a scholarship. In addition to the MAT score, GIBS also considers other factors such as your overall academic performance, extracurricular activities, and performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). So, while a good MAT score is important, the final scholarship decision will also depend on your complete profile. It's a good idea to contact

An 85 percentile in CMAT is considered a good score and can make you eligible for a PGDM scholarship at GIBS Business School. GIBS typically offers scholarships to students with strong academic records or good performance in entrance exams like CMAT. To be eligible for a PGDM Scholarship at GIBS Bangalore, a good CAT score can increase your chances, but the exact score required may vary based on other factors as well, such as your academic record, performance in the GIBS Entrance Test (GET), and your overall profile. Typically, a CAT score of 60% or above can make you eligible for a merit-based scholarship, but this can vary each year. However, GIBS also offers scholarships based on other criteria, such as sports achievements, academic excellence, or financial need. So even if your CAT score isn't very high, you may still qualify for a scholarship depending on your overall profile.I

To be very specific your SNAP percentile rank is 96.9601 while last year's percentile was 96.7699 and hence your chances of getting a call from SCMHRD has improved this year. Basically, they usually send calls to the candidates with the percentiles higher than 97 percentile threshold which is set by SCMHRD. But the real cutoff can be different number depending on the number of students enrolled in it as well as the level of passing the exam. With your new percentile you might get a shot at the GE-PIWAT stage of the SCMHRD admission process which is the next step after clearing this test.

The MBA programme at GRG School of Management Studies for Women is not MAT-based; that is not the sole criteria. This institute accepts MAT because it also considers CAT, TANCET, and CMAT before taking admission. The institution's admission eligibility also includes academic performance with a personal interview and so on merit. For confirmation on alternative tests or even direct admission, it may be worthwhile to consider getting in touch with the admissions office to get more information about applying without the math test.

The institute TAPMI, Manipal, is among several other institutes accepting NMAT scores for admission to the MBA programs of the institute. The cutoff marks for NMAT TAPMI usually fall between the ranges of 200-210 but vary slightly every year. It tends to be influenced by the number of applicant pools and the other variables. The competitive way of the admission process is indicated by the fact that applicants scoring in this range undoubtedly stand a better chance to be shortlisted for the next stage, which includes group discussion and personal interview.TAPMI holistically judges academic performance, work experience, and persona
