MBA Entrance Exam

Common Admission Test or CAT is a national-level management aptitude test conducted by IIM for admission to MBA. Each year, over 2.3 Lacs candidates take the CAT exam, which is accepted by the IIMs and top MBA colleges in India. It is important to apply strict selection criteria to identify the top candidates among them. That's why, the CAT exam is tougher than other MBA entrance exams. Even though the syllabus of CAT is the same as that of other MBA entrance exams, the question paper set by the IIM faculty always has tough questions. Moreover, CAT has a sectional time limit for each section which is not there in any other exam except XAT.

MAT 2024 registration for August is over. The next phase of exams will be held in December 2024. The schedule of MAT 2024 registration for December phase has started at the AIMA, official website. Candidates who plan to appear for the MAT exam this year can apply for any phase of the as per their preparation and convenience. The MAT PBT, CBT and IBT form submission deadline of each session is different. Each MAT session will also be held on a different date. The MAT application fee is same for all exam modes and all exam phases. For each session candidates have to pay INR 2,100 as application fee. Candidates can appear for more than one session, however they will have to pay the fee per session.

It is anticipated that the CMAT 2024 results will be made public in February or March of 2024, usually a few weeks following the test. These findings, in addition to other elements like academic standing and in-person interviews, will be used by Best MBA and PGDMGIBS (Global Institute of Business Studies) Bangalore to assess applicants for admission to their MBA/PGDM programs. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will confirm the precise date of the CMAT results release. Candidates who fulfill the qualifying requirements will be invited to GIBS for counseling and interviews, the next stages of the admissions process, following the results announcement.
