Take 20-30 NMAT mock tests, assess your weak points and work on them. Solve NMAT previous year question papers to understand the test structure, pattern and topic-wise weightage. There is no set time limit to prepare for the XAT exam, but you need a minimum of six months for preparation. Ideally, candidates need to start XAT preparation by April, however, if they start by June or July too, they can complete the syllabus within time and have ample time for practice of sample papers and mock tests. Valid score in CMAT is good enough to get admitted into the PGP EMBA offered by MET AMDC. The eligibility criteria mention that candidates must hold any undergraduate degree and apply with scores from a variety of entrance exams which include CMAT, aptitude questions, and a Statement of Purpose (SOP).However, graduating students may also apply, submitting proof of graduation before joining the course. Eligibility is arrived at based on the performance in entrance test and on other considerations too, besides the academic record.

A CAT score of 160 may not be particularly competitive for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program at KIM, Harihar. The institute has set its overall cutoff for the CAT at the 40 percentile for the PGDM program. However, applicants typically benefit from higher scores, as those achieving 90 percentile and above can qualify for scholarships. A score in the 160 range might be below the typical threshold for better opportunities and scholarships. To enhance your admission chances, it’s advisable to aim for a higher score or consider preparing for other entrance exams accepted by KIM, such as XAT, CMAT

With certain changes, the LUMET program is somewhat comparable to the CAT or CMAT syllabus. General Knowledge, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude are among the subjects covered in both tests. But in contrast to CAT or CMAT, LUMET tends to concentrate more on subjects like Business Awareness and may assign varying weights to different portions. It's crucial to consult the particular LUMET curriculum as the focus and difficulty level of these tests may differ, even though the fundamental areas of aptitude remain the same.
