Both GMAT and CAT entrance exams for MBA admissions. While CAT is required for Indian B-schools, GMAT is required for both Indian and international B-schools. No, TISS is the name of University i.e., Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The exam conducted for the admission to the postgraduate programmes is called TISSNET. EPGDODC is a 14-months programme which is equivalent to the MBA programme at TISS. TISSNET (TISS National Entrance Test) is a university level entrance exam conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences for admission to PG programme. Candidates must prepare according to the TISSNET syllabus and study according to the TISSNET Pattern.

For admission to the IIT Kharagpur MBA program, candidates should achieve a minimum 90 percentile in the CAT exam.The minimum CAT percentile required for admission to the MBA programme at VGSOM (IIT Kharagpur) is 90 for the General category. For NC-OBC and SC/ST/PwD, the minimum CAT percentile required is 80 and 75, respectively.Admission to IIT MBA programs is primarily based on CAT scores. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Delhi MBA course must apply online for CAT. IIT Delhi MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance test, followed by a GD & PI round.Candidates must initially appear for the CAT entrance exam. After qualifying for the CAT exam, candidates are required to participate in the subsequent GD and PI rounds.A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree. A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Yes, UPES accepts the national level etrance examination scores like CAT, GMAT, CUET PG for admission to its MBA programme. Candidates who have not appeared in any of the MBA entrance examinations must take the UPESMET exam for the admission process. Candidates meeting the cut off criteria for national level entrance examination scores will be exempted from taking the UPESMET.

Yes, UPESMET 2025 exam dates are being announced phase wise. UPES has released the UPESMET exam date 2025 in second week of October 2024. UPESMET exam will be conducted in multiple phases. UPES is releasing the UPESMET 2025 phase wise schedule online. Candidates can know the registration last date and UPESMET exam date for particular session.

MAT 2024 was conducted in several cities around India. For August session, PBT was conducted in around 28 cities and CBT in 23 cities. Candidates can apply for MAT by registering at the AIMA website. The option to select test cities will be given in the MAT application form. Applicants must choose their home towns or the cities closed to their current city as the first preference in the MAT exam form. IIM Ranchi cutoff 2024 is yet to be released soon after CAT 2024 results. IIM Ranchi generally releases two types of cutoffs, the first is qualifying and the second is, the final cutoff for WAT/PI. As per the IIM Ranchi CAT cutoff 2023, the final cutoff for WAT/PI stood at 94. Similarly, for 2022 and 2021, the final cutoff was the same at 94 percentile. So, going with the trend, we can say that the final composite score cutoff in 2024 will not exceed the 95 percentile.

Since every section of the CMAT has 20 questions in total, solving 15-18 questions in each section with 80 percent accuracy is considered a good attempt in CMAT and it can ensure a good percentile in the exam. Solving all 100 questions is not mandatory. About 75-80 questions in total will get a good score. Candidates must opt to attempt only those questions they can solve correctly to avoid negative markings. If you plan to prepare for the CMAT exam, then you should put in 4 to 6 hours daily studying. Those scoring 345 to 350 marks will likely secure 100 percentile, and those scoring 285 to 340 marks will get 99 to 99.99 percentile. So
