Alard University MBA admission is entrance-based. Students need to provide a valid score of accepted test to be eligible for admission. However, CAT is not the only test that the university accepts. Students can also provide valid scores obtained in other management entrance tests, such as MAT/ XAT/ PERA/ MH-CET/ CMAT, etc. Alternatively, candidates can appear for the Alard University's entrance test as well. Hence, yes, you may get admission into the MBA course offered at Alard University without appearing for the CAT exam provided you have cleared any of the other accepted exams.

Especially for their MBA programs, an XAT percentile of 60 might not be enough to get admission to the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. XAT, CAT, and other entrance exam results are typically taken into account by UPES when admitting MBA candidates. For general category students, the cutoff for UPES's MBA programme often falls between the 70th and 80th percentiles or above. Though it will probably be more challenging, you might still have a chance at some of their specialised or less competitive specialisations if your XAT percentile is 60. In addition, the final selection is heavily influenced by performance
