Hi,
I am also an engineer and this is misconception about the MBA - Finance and Engineering. Engineers are more likely to go higher than any non engineer in MBA Finance because we guys study it from beginning and have great basics skills developed after MBA in Finance whereas Non Engineers don't focus on basic. Secondly, It will be sure difficult as portion for study but not impossible. I have asked many Finance Corporate about this everyone said that they will prefer engineers because of Technical, analytical and Mathematical skills. B.Sc in finance is much better since it will help you to know the real technicalities of finance field and after that, finance will be fun for you.

Please check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the CAT exam. Once you give CAT and clear the sectional/overall cut-offs required to get shortlisted from MDI Gurgaon, you will be called for the next round (GDPIWAT). Based on the combined scores for different components, the final selection list is then released. All the best.
