Yes, you have to appear for an MBA entrance exam. In fact if you wish to take admission in any other college also, you have to attend MAT or CAT exam. Regarding IEM you need to give:
MAT entrance exam for PGDM.
CAT entrance exam for MBA.

Hi Sahil, a minimum of 2 years is required for any established MBA program in USA. You must also work very hard on your GMAT since your percentage is not competitive. Additionally, you must work on developing your overall profile and build on your extracurricular activities.

Hi,Ideally, work experience is not compulsory for pursuing MBA but it's preferable as it gives you an edge over others. If you've decided to do MBA in finance then any experience in the field of finance or accountancy can be helpful. You could also try some internships in finance before doing an MBA.All the best!!!

Yes, as job experience is an indicator that you are well-groomed with the job environment and you have a sound working knowledge of companies operations.
No, as job experience in a field like software engineering, etc. "may" not be that much helpful. While recruiting a MBA finance guy, "generally" a company looks whether he had a work experience in finance sector, or at least an education background of finance.
(I am not saying that other educational backgrounds will not get any scope after doing MBA in finance. All I want to say is that commerce or economics background students always get an edge over other streams).

You can directly join integrated MBA in finance or you can go for B.Com in finance honors or major or BBA programme. It would be best to try integrated MBA programme after 12th.
