If you are looking for PR not a career in your field, you can go for any famous programme from colleges in Canada (not from University). Colleges are different from University in Canada, they provide low cost (10-15 Lacs) education and good for someone looking to get PR but University programs are generally high cost and good for career as well as PR in Canada. As at your question you have done MBA, so doing Diploma is worthless after than, but you have mentioned Canada, it means PR could be a reason, yes, you can go for any college not University.

Both are equally good; what matters more is where do your interests lie. 1) Every corporation, financial service provider, financial institution, consultancy firm and public as well as government sector bank have positions for economists, research associates, research analysts, risk managers, debt managers, budget managers, investment analysts, economic advisory, econometrician, etc.
2) There is a good scope of teaching in schools, colleges and the universities. However, in order to teach in a university an M.Phil and/or a PhD is mandatory after clearing the JRF NET examination.

For general category, cut off revolves around 95 percentile every year. Specialisation, you'll have to select in the second year of MBA.

CGC Landran is an excellent choice for MBA-finance since it offers the best career and placement opportunities and getting an admission to it is both possible via CAT exam score/percentile or direct admissions but that shall be on paid donation basis, authorities may charge you extra along with your graduation score card. MBA finance has a better scope no doubt, but the thing lies in your interest area. Everyone is not meant for finance, I would suggest you to do 2 year PGDM programme, and then decide which stream to opt for.
