MBA in Assam

Although Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Co-operative Management (ARGUCOM) fees regarding its MBA courses are already on the cheap side in comparison to private institutions, in general, it ranges from around INR 40,000 to INR 60,000 for the MBA programme per year which varies from programme to programme along with some additional administrative or hostel charges. This is not a high fee for any government institution, more importantly, for a specialised course that has focused inculcation in co-operative management.As for the average salary that students earn after graduation from the MBA of ARGUCOM, it all depends on aspects like industries, job role, and experience. Average initial pay offered to MBA graduates of ARGUCOM would remain in the range of INR 3 to 5 Lacs annually. Students placed in cooperative banks, rural development organizations, and government bodies will have entirely different pay packages that can go up over time. 

There are 60 seats in the MBA programme at ADBU. Each student has to sit for one of the entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, JMAT, XAT, and GMAT. ADBU’s MBA tuition fee is approximately Rs. 2.00,000 per year. The university has a placement cell that offers various resources and assistance to prepare students for placements. There are no guaranteed placements in the MBA program.Placements are based on various criteria such as academic performance and aptitude. It is important to note that 60 seats are likely to be filled in the entire program. This includes students pursuing various specializations offered in the MBA programme if any.

Students must have completed their degree in any field from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks. Students who are waiting for their final year result may apply, but they must provide evidence of meeting the minimum requirements within 3 months after the commencement of the program. Applicants must have passed any of the below-mentioned entrance exams: Don Bosco Entrance Test GMAT CAT XAT MAT AICTE CMAT JEMAT Students who have valid scores in all the above-mentioned entrance exams can be exempted from the DBU PGET. Shortlisted students on the basis of their entrance exam score or DBU Performance will be invited for Group Discussion Personal Interview.
