There are no pros and cons of starting preparation of MBA from the 2nd year of B.Tech if you can handle the studies without any problem. But if you cannot handle both these studies, you would lack behind with something or the other. So, if you can handle up your studies you can start the preparation from the 2nd year. It is good and if you can't then complete your B.Tech and then start your MBA preparations.

IIMs are the best option. For that, you need to study well. Dedicate yourself to your studies. CAT is a bit difficult. For getting into IIMs, you might require 98-99%ile.

After 2 years of work experience is the best way to pursue MBA because most of the business organizations look for work-ex MBA students. It helps them to easily train the students. Work experience in IT companies is most relevant to work experience. Even individuals find it easy to gel with the corporate culture easily.

Hi dear,
For MBA, one must prepare for CAT from the second half of the 2nd year of B.Com (Hons).
1 year is enough for B.Com (Hons) student to get good grades in CAT provided sincere practice is done.
Refer to good books.
Thank you and all the best.

Hi,
Since you are preparing for MBA and have an interest in SAP then I would recommend going with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). To learn SAP you don't need to know any computer programs because the course you will pursue for functional not development.

Hello, Tarunita! You can refer these books for CET exam preparation: Quantitative Aptitude For Competitive Examinations, A Modern Approach To Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning - R.S. Aggarwal. Also, join the mock test series of one of the coaching classes like TIME, IMS, Career Launcher, etc. Good luck!
