MBA will have higher salary offers. This depends on the stream an individual pursues. Marketing has more variable pays and generally starts from 6-7 Lacs and grows to 14-15 Lacs in 3-4 years time. Finance students also have initial packages from 7-8 Lacs, HR varies from 5-8 Lacs. These values much depend on colleges and organizations coming to campus for recruitment.

Hello!
It entirely depends upon the skills you possess to do justice to the particular job profile, the B-school from where you are pursuing MBA, and the company recruiting you. You might earn anywhere from Rs 3 Lacs to 30 Lacs and even more. Candidates from reputed B-schools like the IIMs (old ones), JBIMS, FMS, SP Jain, etc. Are known for bagging lucrative packages of around Rs 20-25 Lacs (on an average).

Placements are good enough. But, if you ask about the packages, then it is difficult to be specific as no college guarantees you regarding placement with package mentioned. It varies from year to year as per the market standards because companies run as per market standards. So, I would suggest you to check the testimonial of the college's website where you will find feedback from genuine students regarding placement. Hope that will help you. All the best.

This career ladder is very common. Most of the B.Tech students who are looking for non-technical career options prefer MBA as a career choice. If you succeed to get a good B-School after clearing CAT or MAT you'll get high level management jobs in esteemed organizations. Depending on your major, you'll get following jobs:
Intern or management trainee in organizations like GOOGLE, Microsoft etc. Mid-level management -
Marketing manager
HR Manager
Finance manager.

Both options are open for you. You can try here in India also, if you want and can go abroad also, as they both prefer your performance in the course i.e your scores of MBA, so you can try your best there and can fulfill this gap there.
