Only MAT and CMAT healthy scores can revive you. As through higher score you will get top tier I branded colleges which can revive you from this dilemma. Chase SIMSREE, PUMBA, XIME (finance and HR too good), Great Lakes-Chennai, N L Dalmia (core finance), IMT-Nagpur and Hyderabad. Do not run behind the 9.6 LPA otherwise the prohibited Adam's apple may backfires you as job stability and in hand salary matters the most.

Since you are a chemical engineer I suggest you think once again about your MBA specialization subject. Ire and Safety are good fields but you will have to compete with candidates who will not be engineers there. You knowledge of chemical engineering would diminish gradually and would not immensely help in fire and safety field. It will help only to a limited extent.

Hi Dipangshu,
Work experience is not required in India. Which one is better will depend on the university and also on your career plans. In India we have renowned business schools like ISB and IIM, the only ones which are globally recognized, if you get through one of these your life is set. Germany on the other hand has top notch universities like WHU Otto Beisheim, Mannheim Business School, etc. If you want to finally settle down in India get into a top ranked school so that employers here value your degree.
