In the US medical studies are only done at the graduate level. Undergraduate students complete BS degrees in chemistry, biochemsitry, biology or other science related fields, then take a difficult examination, the MCAT, and apply for admission to Medical schools that require four years of graduate study and award the MD or DO degree.
Admission to medical school is very competitive - you must have a 3.6 / 4.0 or better average in a series of difficult science courses to be admitted.
Also there are very few scholarships for medical students, so most students

No, not at all, studying Maths is NOT required at any time after Xth for doing MBBS course later. For MBBS course you need to appear in the PMT exam and/or individual college exams (like that of Manipal, SRMC etc) and get into the merit. For being eligible to write the competitive exam you need at least 50% marks in your XII th with PCB subjects.

The basic eligibility to take an admission into an MBBS course in India is 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Biology as one of the subjects.
