Hi,
To study in Germany one must complete 13 years of education that is one more additional year of formal schooling or college after 12th.You may enroll into a Bachelor's degree program and complete the first year or check for Studienkolleg courses in Germany.
You must also have strong German language skills since the undergraduate courses are mostly taught in German language. Medical studies are highly competitive and all requirements must be met. Check the DAAD India website for more clarity.

MBBS in Germany is taught in German language so you need to give the test for German language. Nowadays, colleges are also asking for IELTS.

It'll definitely be good, but you have to learn German language there and enrol in a school for 1 year.

Hi Nithees,
The Indian MBBS is called MD in Germany. You cannot apply to any Bachelor degree program in Germany after 12th. An additional year of schooling is required. You may enroll into a Bachelor degree program in biological science and complete the first year with good grades or it will be best if you enroll into Studienkolleg in Germany. Studienkolleg will itself train you academically to be eligible for further studies in Germany. Check DAAD website and contact them.

Yes, Germany is regarded one of the finest places to pursue MBBS. There are no entrance exams as such but you must take IELTS and TestDaf for English and German language requirements. Programmes will be taught in German mostly. Academically you must be a brilliant student. The fee may be around Euro 480 to Euro 1000 per semester.

Germany is known for good education at low cost or free education. Medical programs in Germany are offered only in German language. Your entire course will be in German. To apply for MBBS in Germany, many students enroll for a pathway program of 1 year in which you will be taught German language and medical terminologies in German. Once you successfully complete your pathway program, you will be eligible to apply for the medical program in Germany.
