It can be difficult for an out-of-state applicant to gain admission to MBBS colleges in Hyderabad or Secunderabad because local or state-domiciled candidates are given preference. Make sure you score highly on the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, or NEET-UG. Your admissions eligibility to MBBS colleges in India will be based on your NEET-UG rank.

The cutoff trend for MBBS at AIIMS Hyderabad has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for MBBS under general category for all India quota was 6673. In 2023, it decreased to 2811. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 7903 to 4644 for OBC 7501 to 4472 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 3 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 2811 and closing rank was 2811 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in AIIMS Hyderabad is based on the scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

As per the official website of AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad, the fees for the MBBS programme for the academic year 2022-23 is as follows:
1. Tuition fee - Rs. 1,485 per annum
2. Laboratory fee - Rs. 90 per annum
3. Student Union fee - Rs. 63 per annum
4. Gymkhana fee - Rs. 220 per annum
5. Pot fund - Rs. 1320 per annum
6. Hostel rent - Rs. 990 per annum
7. Hostel electricity charges - Rs. 1980 per annum
8. Hostel establishment charges - Rs. 990 per annum
