First of all I would like to clear that the university name is Texila American University.
Now, I am coming to your question, MCI approves PG degrees from five countries only namely UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Texila American University has clearly stated on their website at the bottom of the page that these courses are not recognised in India.
https://www.tauedu.org/pgmedicine/
UK offers admission in various MD programmes without PLAB and the courses are purely clinical and totally recognised by MCI. Also, you won't be required to take any screening test also.

All the best.
