Yes, it is possible to pursue MBBS in USA/Caribbean on the basis of your NIOS. NIOS is a valid government board. You can pursue MBBS directly. Course duration for MBBS/MD in USA will be 5.5 years.
You can get direct admission in MBBS/MD programmes in USA/Caribbean and UK after your class 12th. You will be eligible for MCI Screening also in India. Package starts 35 Lac for the complete course including fooding and accommodation.

Hi Suraj,
Things you should know about MBBS in US:
1. There is no direct MBBS in USA
2. You must complete your Bachelors degree and clear your MCAT before you can enroll into a medical school
Talking about scholarship, USA is one of the most generous countries and gives plenty of scholarships. All these scholarships are mainly on merit, you must have a very good academic score and extra curricular activities to gain such financial aid.

Hi Mimansha,
There is no MBBS program in USA. You must complete your Bachelor's degree, then you can take MCAT and then seek admissions in a medical school. To study Bachelor's degree in US, you need to take SAT and TOEFL exam and apply into biological sciences program. You must be very good in your academics to get admission in a medical school.

In USA, most colleges are the finest. But, Canada is the best option. You have to crack SAT exam, then you have to apply for the colleges.

MBBS does not exist in USA.They offer MD (Doctor of Medicine) and its duration is 4 years.

Studying medicine is really difficult in US for international students as the universities give preference to American citizens for medical courses. So, international students getting admitted to an MD course are very rare.

Hi,
To study MBBS you must clear Bachelor's degree first in US. You cannot study MBBS directly. Once you clear the four years BS you must clear MCAT, medical college admission test to study medicine. Consider other country options.
