Gopal Narayan Singh University offers five and a half year programme through the Narayan Medical College and Hospital. The course is regulated by the Medical Council of India and is spanned for four and a half years divided into semesters, followed by a compulsory internship for a year. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can apply for MBBS programme.

NEET UG syllabus  is divided among four sections- Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany. All 4 sections hold same weightage for the examination and all the sections have 45 questions. There is no separate entrance exam for admission into MBBS course of SRM Medical College. The only exam accepted for admission to the MBBS course of the college is NEET (UG). Based on the performance in NEET and the AIQ counselling merit-list, a candidate is given admission in SRM Medical college.

Indeed, the National Eligibility/Entrance Test is accepted by Sawai Man Singh Medical College for MBBS admission. SMS Medical College uses the NEET UG exam, which is administered by the NTA, as the basis for the undergraduate MBBS admissions procedure. For students wishing to enrol in MBBS and BDS programmes at Indian medical or dental colleges, the qualifying exam is known as NEET. Therefore, applicants must take the NEET exam and receive a qualifying score in order to be admitted to SMS Medical College for MBBS.

Indeed, in order to be considered for admission to SRM Medical College's MBBS programme, a candidate must pass the NEET (UG) exam. No other entrance exam is acceptable for college admission to the MBBS programme. The only way to fill the slots is through MCC's AIQ counselling. For this counselling, only students who meet the NEET requirements may sign up.
