JIPMER Puducherry allot seats in the MBBS course based on candidates scores in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam. The course aspirants need to take this entrance test and secure a good score to get selected. Aspirants who meet the eligibilitgy requirements can visit the NTA website to register and apply. After the entrance exam, a cutoff list is released by the authorities. Candidates with NEET score more than or equal to the cutoff become eligible for admission. The seat allotment is further carried out based on the exam scores.

For NEET 2025, the application process will likely begin in the first week of February 2025. The registration deadline is expected to be around March 2025. After the registration window closes, candidates will have a brief correction window, typically in the second week of March 2025.
