No, Optometry is not under MBBS. Optometry is a distinct field of healthcare focused on the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of vision problems and eye disorders. It involves the study of optics, visual science, and eye health, and optometrists are trained to prescribe corrective lenses, detect eye diseases, and provide various eye care services. In contrast, MBBS is a comprehensive medical degree that covers a broad range of medical sciences and prepares students to become general physicians.
