No, Audiology and Speech Therapy do not require an MBBS degree in India. In India, Audiology and Speech Therapy are separate fields that are typically pursued through specific undergraduate and postgraduate programs. To become an audiologist or a speech therapist in India, candidates would generally need to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) or a related field. After completing the undergraduate studies, you may also choose to pursue a Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) for further specialization.
