Aspirants need to complete Bachelor (3 years)/ master degree examination of any recognised education body in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) or should have secured at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) in Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Computer Applications/ Electronics as a subject in Class 12 or at degree level to apply for AIMS Bangalore MCA programme.

Candidates seeking admission to Anna University MCA course must have passed a Bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration in BCA, BSc (Information Technology /Computer Science), Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category). Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, a valid score in the TANCET entrance exam is also compulsory to be eligible for Anna University MCA admission 2023.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate is the basic eligibility for MCA offered at Shivaji University. For reserved category candidates, 45% aggregate is the minimum eligibility.
