Any of the NITs can administer the Common Entrance National Level Test (NIMCET) to applicants for admission to their MCA programme. Nine NITs—Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal—offer the MCA programme. The above-mentioned NITs' MCA programme admission for the academic year 2024–25 will be determined solely by the rank attained in the NIMCET 2024.

KJ Somaiya Institute of Management offers admission to the MCA programme based on score in the accepted exam. The institute accept scores of PERA CET/CUET/MAH MCA CET for selection. After completion of Seat Allotment Result in each round, a report will be published in public domain to view the institute wise seat allotment result. This will be a list of allotted candidates which may contains the NIMCETApplication Number, candidate category, PwD, allotted rank etc. Candidate can filter this list by institute wise.

The authorities have not yet announced the NIMCET 2025 seat allotment dates. The authorities will be able to access the round-wise seat allotment result online. To check their allotment status, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Candidates not satisfied with their allotment will be eligible to participate in the next round of counselling.

Yes. A candidate's NIMCET score will be valid, but the provisional candidature may be cancelled by the institute. However, the candidates may face problems during the NIMCET counselling and admission process. For admissions, the candidates are required to fulfil  the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the information brochure of NIMCET.
