NIMCET syllabus focuses more on the theoretical and problem solving work of the students while BSc IT/BTech CS are more leaning into skill based and practical syllabus. Many topics which are known to be more theoretical are hence included into NIMCET syllabus while they are skipped from BSc IT/BTech understandably.

While more or less all the concepts have been covered across the subjects in the official NIMCET syllabus. We advise you to not stress too much and focus on the prescribed syllabus provided by the exam authorities.
