The University has not released the placement data for the MCA course for 2023. However, the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses has been released. As per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 768 out of 1,545 PG (2-year) students were placed during placements in 2022. The University has not released placement data for MCA courses. However, combined placement details are out for the PG (2 years) courses. Out of 323 PG (2 years) graduates, 199 were placed during GBPUAT placements 2022. This makes the placement rate nearly 62%. Earlier, 179 students were placed during 2021 placements, out of 290 graduates. This makes the placement rate nearly 62%. According to the Patliputra University every year MCA has 60-70% students getting through campus placements. The average package is 6-8LPA. The highest package was 15LPA.The Patliputra University conducts placement drives in which big companies like Tcs, Wipro, Infosys etc. The Placements of other courses are almost 75% of students got placed in patliputra University. The highest salary package offered is 6.4LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 to 5.5LPA. And the lowest salary package offered is 3.5LPA.

The University has released the combined placement details for PG (2-year) courses. Out of 525 PG (2-year) graduates 43 were placed in the 2021-22 academic year. Earlier, 45 out of 468 students were placed in the 2021 drive.
