In order to get MCA admissions at GITAM University, Vishakhapatnam student need to meet the last educational qualification as per course requirement. To enrol for this course aspirants need to sit and appear for All India GITAM Science Admission Test (GAT) conducted by GITAM University and the rule of reservation, wherever applicable.

It is a computer-based exam that student can take up from multiple centers all across India. No, there is no step marking in NIMCET. Each correctly answered question will be awarded full marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to 25% negative mark. The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions if they are not sure of the correct answer. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if a question is unanswered. More than one answer indicated against a question will be negatively marked. The candidates have to mark the responses as per the instructions appearing in the screen of NIMCET online examination.

As per the exam pattern of the NIMCET, for every correctly answered question, full marks will be awarded, and each wrongly answered question will lead to a 25% negative mark. Also, if a candidate marked more than one answer against a question, then it will be negatively marked.

Yes, candidates will be allowed to correct their mistakes in the NIMCET application form. Dates for making the correction will be notified by the conducting authority on the official website. Candidates are advised to keep two copies of the application form and e-receipt for future reference. Also, candidates should remember their login, password, security questions and answers, e-mail id entered in the application until the end of the NIMCET process.

In order to be eligible to appear for the NIMCET exam, candidates must complete the payment process. Without that, the exam authorities will not release the candidate's admit card. Also, the admit card is an important document that needs to be carried to the examination centre. Without an admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
