According to the official BIT MCA paper, the authorities will conduct the examination as a computer-based test. For every question, multiple choices will be given. The candidates will have to select their choice of answer and submit it. The correct answer has to be checked and submitted. There will be a total of 120 questions in the examination.

You can do MCA after finishing BSc IT in Kuvempu University in association with NIIT. However, since the programme was done in 2012, the degree remains valid regardless of the years that Passed since completion. As a general rule, MCA programmes call for a B.Sc. in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology whereby mathematics is mandatory. Because your BSc IT course work comprises of mathematics and computer related subjects, one is eligible for an MCA. The eligibility criteria for admission to the MCA course at T. John Group of Institutions include that candidates must complete their undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50%. Additionally,  TJGI MCA selecion process is based on candidates' valid scores in PGCET/ MAT/ KMAT. To get a seat in the MCA programme at T. John Group of Institutions, scoring a decent score in the entrance examination is compulsory.

Yes, candidates can pursue an MCA degree without completing a BCA degree. According to the information provided on the official website of the colleges, it does not specify which degree is required to get admission into the MCA course. However, for pursuing MCA courses candidates must complete their bachelor's degree in Science related stream. Nevertheless, BCA might provide a foundational understanding of Computer application, but it's not a strict requirement for admission into an MCA programme.

T. John Group of Institutions accepts several entrance examination scores for admission to MCA courses. According to the information provided on the official website of the college, it states that candidates must secure a valid score in the MAT/ K-MAT/ K-PGCET.

The T. John Group of Institutions offers 120 MCA seats in total, while PES College of Engineering and Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies offer 60 seats. As a result, TJGI provides the most seats for the MCA course. All colleges accept K-PGCET scores for admission to the programme, and candidates must have completed their graduation first with decent scores to be eligible for admission.
