Iims is not the only option in management field, there are other very good management colleges. After doing management, the opportunities for placement will be wider than by doing M.Sc.

If we check combined syllabus of BCA and MCA then it is often equivalent to Bachelor degree of engineering. Study is all about syllabus, if you are going to conquer wide range and meaningful syllabus then it will be definitely helpful in career. Usually done after BCA MCA courses are done by students as they are lengthier and more expensive than the M.Sc. IT courses. Also, MCA graduates have an edge over M.Sc. Graduates as the curriculum of MCA includes management modules also.

I am not getting why you want to join NIE Mysore. Better you prepare for NIMCET for few months and clear the competitive exam. Based on your score, you will get prestigious institutes like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Allahabad, etc.
Otherwise below is the detailed information:

You must meet one of the following requirements in order to qualify under AICTE's eligibility standards for admission to the MCA programme:
1. You have pursued either a BCA or B.Sc. In math.
2. You studied mathematics as one of your subjects for a B.Com or B.A. Degree.
3. You had a mathematics subject in your 12th grade.
4. Some colleges might require you to have more than 50% in your graduate degree. Therefore, if you have math as a subject, you are eligible for the MCA course. You can check eligibility criteria for top MCA colleges at this link: https://www.shiksha.com/it-software/colleges/mca-colleges-india.
