Yes, there is an entrance examination for both MBA or MCA as candidates willing to pursue MCA courses are required to qualify the entrance exam conducted at the national/ state or by the University.
However, there are some popular colleges/universities that conduct their own entrance test to shortlisted eligible candidates for the course. In case of MCA admission, the candidates have to appear for the entrance exams.

Hi, The eligibility for MCA in LPU is passing with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or with (Mathematics or Statistics or Business Maths or Business Statistics or QT as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent. That is to say you need a 60% in graduation with IT/ CSE/Maths/ Stats. You can check the website of LPU and start the admission procedure as the seats are filling up. Yes you can join MCA if you had not math subject in 12th. Other is depend on university most of the university have compulsory Math subject for MCA. So, you have search about university then join as per your comfort. If you really wants to do MCA then I would suggest you to join some institute for learning computer programming language and appear for additional Maths of 10+2 from any examination board or you can also do 1 year Diploma like PGDCA A-level from DOEACC etc. Then only you will be eligible to do MCA.

Yes you could eligible for MCA but its sounds unusual that's why if you really wants to do MCA then I would suggest you to join some institute for learning computer programming language and appear for additional Maths of 10+2 from any examination board or you can also do 1 year Diploma like PGDCA A-level from DOEACC etc. Then only you will be eligible to do MCA.

The fee structure at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi (Ranchi University) for Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course is-
Tuition Fees: INR 1,09,000 PA.
Total Year Wise Fees: INR 1,09,000 for the first year, INR 1,09,000 for the Second year, and INR 1,09,000 for the final year.
Total Fees: INR 3,27,000.
The duration of the Master of Computer Applications course is three years.

The fee at Aurora's Degree and PG College for a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is-
Tuition Fees for the first year: INR 27000 PA.
