The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023 rates McGill as the 46th best university in the world. Although at least 85% average score is required to be eligible for admission, the average entering grade at McGill is over 92%. Thus, it is very competitive for international students. There are also seats reserved for students from Quebec, making the admissions process highly competitive.
