Admissions to Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences for MDS are strictly based on the established selection process, and the institution doesn't offer direct admission.Eligibility Criteria for MDS :-Candidates should have completed their Undergraduate Dental education in India from a dental college/institute duly recognised as per the provisions of the Dentists’s Act,1948.Completed Compulsory Rotatory Internship by 31st march of current year.Obtained permanent registration with the Dental Council of India or any of the State Dental Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission.Qualified in NEET - MDS.Admission to the course shall be based on National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) - MDS conducted by National Board of Examinations.

The Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital has provided diverse type of scholarships to MDS students including Periodontology students. When more specific information is sought on MDS in Periodontology scholarships, a few are available but only for the “College” managed financial aid considering the grades of the students. Most of the time with these scholarships, candidates who have done the bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) should have passed with a mean grade of 55% for the general categories and above 45% for the SC/ST categories, get these scholarships. They are encouraged to utilize the student counseling services offered by the college and seek available options to enable them to get comprehensive information on the procedures and eligibility rules concerning the scholarship applications.
