The aspirants who have completed their Master in Dental Surgery have a good scope both in terms of higher studies as well as in acquiring an immediate job. You can start up a private clinic or a dental lab, work in government or private institutions, work as tutor in some reputed colleges, work in research and advisory departments of a pharmaceutical , work as dental consultant to models, artists, well-known figures and also can carry out research on topics like oral cancer. You have vast scope in foreign countries also where the pay scale will also be much higher than your home country.

Generally, you must hold a BDS and must take the IELTS or the TOEFL. Very good grades in your Bachelor's degree is required, 3.3 out 4.0 for a majority of the universities. You must also check for any additional requirements on university websites since it differs. Also, some universities have a DDS programme directly.

If you are a peoples person & like engaging with people then you could pursue MBA in HR & join HR in a dental mfg /product distribution company.
If you are keen on sales/marketing then you could pursue MBA in marketing and join a pharma /FMCG/dental product mfg setup in their sales/marketing team.
If you are keen in finance then you could also pursue MBA in finance & join an Equity Broking house and start tracking Pharma/hospital companies & thus use your medical knowledge in understanding the business of the said companies better.
