Hi,
Yes, you are eligible. The minimum qualification for admission to this field is BE or B.Tech with at least 50% (60% for IITs) marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university and a minimum of 60% in class 10 and 10+2. The preferred undergraduate courses, for admission to M.Tech aerospace Engineering are B.Tech/B.E. in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Avionics/ CSE/ ECE/ Mech/ EEE/ EIE. The admission process for the course is varied as various institutes have their very own criteria and process of admission.
The admission to this course in any of the IIT is through the candidate's performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test

Yes, you can take admission. To take admission in VJTI for Diploma in mechanical engineering, one should score above 90% (open category).

Hello Arun, You are asking that which branch is best in engineering so dear I would like to tell you all the branches of engineering are best but dear it depends on you interest or choice. So choose a good branch of your interest, for example if you like computer line then you should do B.Tech CSE. I hope this information helps you a lot for your bright future. Yes, you are eligible for lateral entry as you are from vocational course background you will get admission straight into the second year. So, don't worry go for it.

Hello Shashank,
Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET, if you have completed post-graduation in mechanical engineering. According to your branch CSIR NET Physical Sciences is the best option. But, you should have passed it with minimum 55% aggregate marks, if you are from General/OBC or if you are from SC/ST/OBC then you will get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. To appear for JRF you have to follow age criteria also I. e. the maximum age limit is 28 years. For assistant this age criteria is not applicable. You can apply whenever you want.

Any individual who has cleared his 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board or institution like CBSE, state board or NIOS is eligible to opt for B.Tech in mechanical engineering.
