The average annual salary of a Mechanical Engineer in India is somewhere around INR 4.5 LPA to INR 5 LPA. Most of the private and government organizations extend good salary offers to talented candidates who they feel can contribute to the growing field of mechanics and serve as an asset for their business. In this digitalized world, where there are new technological innovations every day and emerging trends like robotics and automation have taken over, individuals with excellent skill set and technical and computer knowledge are in high demand. Hence, BTech Mechanical Engineering graduates get paid quite well from the beginning itself.

Nirma University is one of the good private colleges in the region known for providing quality education to its students. The institute has been graded in the 'A+' category by NAAC.  As we are aware, the cutoff percentile varies almost every year to secure admission to Nirma University through JEE Main results. More than 95 percentile would be required to secure admission in Nirma University. This is just an estimated number, the actual percentile may increase, also it depends on the category which you belong to General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.

Mechanical Engineering students typically secure placements in sectors like manufacturing, automotive, construction, energy, and core engineering companies such as L&T, Tata Motors, and Siemens. The average salary package for mechanical engineering graduates at LPU is typically lower compared to CS/IT. In contrast, CS/IT placements are generally more lucrative, with students often being recruited by tech giants like Google, A
