The placement scenario of B. E. in Mechanical Engineering in SJCE is satisfactory as a whole since more than 80% of the students are getting placed. The employers that offer employment opportunities to the mechanical engineering students include the Collins Aerospace, Bosch, and Mercedes-Benz among others. In detailed, in 2022, the maximum offered salary was INR 43 lakhs per annum, & the mean annual salary hike from INR 8 lakhs to INR 12 lakhs. Finally, the college also provides internships for the last year’s students to equip them the industrial need before they complete their studies.

Unlike other colleges NIT Hamirpur’s mechanical engineering department is good for women. The institution has put in place measures such as: - Girls’ hostels that operate around the clock with security personnel who ensure their safety. A Women’s complaint resolution cell and counseling Equal opportunities for participation during technical fests and other events. Women faculty members and mentors who guide them. BVM.Reasons to chose -the oldest engineering college of gujarat having mechanical branch.Experienced faculties.Nice workshop and laboratories.Now it’s an autonomous institute so BVM have its own syllabus and question papers.Good placement opportunities.Students in mechanical branch have higher rank here than DDIT, so you will get nice atmosphere here.Drawbacks-Campus is very old and also small (1948). So BVM don’t have best infrastructure. you may not feel like college.Some professors are not good infact they are below average.  The fee for a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at Providence College of Engineering is Rs. 50,000 per annum - Rs 1.25 Lakh per annum for different students.
