You have a decent profile. Have you gone through any university website? You should first check the admission requirements and also check the different type of MS programs. Some are research based and some are course based. Again, there could be M. Engineering or M.Asc, entry requirements are different. Gaining admissions into a very highly ranked university could be competitive. You may also be required to take the GRE. Additionally, recommendation letters and your motivational letter will also be considered.

Hello Aashik,
You have asked a very interesting but pertinent query. Whether to do Masters in Canada for Germany? Both the answers have pros and cons. In Canada, the advantage is that the medium of instruction is English and it is convenient for students from India. In addition, Canada is reasonably well industrialized and getting jobs after post-graduation is not difficult at all. On the other hand, Germany is considered as the leading country for mechanical engineering. Hence the courses for post-graduation studies are well suited for mechanical engineers. However one needs to know German language as in majority of the cases medium of

You should write TOEFL and GRE to study abroad. You must go for the selection of the university/college, where it's offered well (your particular stream). Some colleges don't ask for your GRE score. So, you can only clear TOEFL with a score which university asks for.

Hi Mani, PG Diploma programs in mechanical engineering is difficult to find in Canada. PG Diploma is suitable if you are looking for a fast track career option, mostly based on practical courses and applications. MS programs are research oriented, if you want to get into RnD MS is suitable for you. With 7.2 CGPA, admission in a MS program is challenging. So, you decide your career interests and choose accordingly.

Hi,
To obtain an educational loan, your brother must have the admission letter from the university. Also, note that banks don't offer loans for each and every course. You must also have a good profile and you must be admitted by a good university. Secondly, banks give around 80% of the fee, rest you have to do it. Contact a few banks locally for more information. Germany is far better than Canada for mechanical engineers. There are lot of universities offering M.Tech courses for mechanical students with scholarships.

Hi Gaurav,
I will suggest, you should opt for a Master's degree for future prospects but it depends on you. If you are looking for a professional degree, you can go for a PG Diploma. Masters is useful for a research oriented career.
